Well....It's Memorial Day...A Holiday...Time to Update!!!

Tomorrow I start my Summer class...Physical Science!  What fun!!  At least it will give me something to do!  I'm glad to be home, but I don't like how I'm so lazy!  Hopefully I'll get a job soon too!!  Keep prayin'!

I really don't know what else to say...There aren't many people who read this anyway!  So...I shall leave you with random facts...

  • The 57 on the Heinz ketchup bottle represents the number of varieties of pickle the company once produced.
  • Your stomach has to produce a new layer of mucus every two weeks, or it will digest itself.
  • On average, 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily.
  • Ketchup was sold in the 1830s as medicine
  • American Airlines saved $40,000 in 1987 by eliminating one olive from each salad served in First Class.
  • The number of possible ways of playing the first four moves per side in a game of chess is 318,979,564,000.
  • There are no clocks in Las Vegas gambling casinos.
  • It took Leonardo Da Vinci 10 years to paint Mona Lisa's lips.
  • The Guinness Book of Records holds the record for being the book most often stolen from Public Libraries.
  • Astronauts are not allowed to eat beans before they go into space because passing wind in a spacesuit damages it.

Haha...Notice the facts about ketchup! =)  Have a great week (month) everyone!!

You've been so faithful  ~  You're faithful still

You've always loved me  ~  You always will

And I lay on the alter all my notions of love

I am weak ~  You are strong

I give up ~  you go on

And you carry me through every step of the way

In my darkness  ~  You're light

In confusion  ~  You're right

Still you offer me  unconditional  love

I seldom stand up  ~  I mostly crawl

I'm never perfect  ~  I always fall

And I lay on the alter all my notions of love

    HAPPY APRIL 30th!!

I almost forgot to post in April!!!  Soo...Here it is!!

Only 2 more weeks of school! yay!!  I went to Memphis this weekend, and it was wonderful.  I got to see my grandparents and brother and meet his girlfriend.  I also had some of the best Chinese food EVER!!  And some Cajun food that was also pretty tasty! =) I didn't enjoy the 4 hour drive home.  Sitting in my car at a complete stop on the interstate for 30 minutes was not my idea of fun. BUT!  I got back safely, and all is well!!

Hope everyone is hanging in there for finals!!  Good Luck!  Do Your Best!!  Summer is ALMOST here!!!!

Oh, Great God, be small enough to hear me now.
    There were times when I was crying from the dark of Daniel's den;
And I have asked you once or twice if You would part the sea again.
But tonight I do not need a fiery pillar in the sky.
Just want to know you're gonna hold me if I start to cry.
Oh great God, be small enough to hear me now.

Oh great God, be close enough to feel You now.
There have been moments when I could not face Goliath on my own.
And how could I forget we've march around our share of Jerichos.
But I will not be setting out a fleece for You tonight.
Just want to know that everything will be alright.
Oh, great God, be close enough to feel You now.

    All praise and all the honor be;
To the God of ancient mysteries.
Whose every sign and wonder turn the pages of our history.
But tonight my heart is heavy,
And I cannot keep from whispering this prayer.
    Are You there?

And I know You could leave writing on the wall that's just for me.
Or send wisdom while I'm sleeping, like in Solomon's sweet dreams.
But I don't need the strength of Samson or a chariot in the end...
Just Want to know that You still know how many hairs are on my head.
Oh, great God, be small enough to hear me now.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!

March 17: Important Holiday for all you Irish people out there!!  AND...The beginning of SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!

Soo...I wore no green today.  I'm okay with that.  I did, however,  go to Irish Made Doughnuts...So that has to count for something!

Anyway, I guess this is my monthly post.  For the 2 and a half people that read this!  Spring Break started today (as noted above).  I'm excited about no classes for a week, but I have no clue what to do with my time.  I'm sure I'll figure something out!

Life has been pretty good lately.  God's presence has really been evident to me ...and that is awesome.  I'm beginning to notice the small blessings He will send here and there.  I love that feeling...When I know He is there, taking care of His child.

I really don't know what else to post, so I guess this is the end.  I hope everyone's Spring Break is magical! =)

    Your love is extravagant
    Your friendship, it is intimate
I feel like moving to the rhythm of Your grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating in our secret place
    Your love is extravagant

Spread wide in the arms of Christ is the love that covers sin
No greater love have I ever known You considered me a friend
    Capture my heart again

After several requests, I have decided it's time for my monthly update! haha!

First I would like to say....

    Happy Groundhog Day!!!!!

This joyous holiday holds a special place in my heart.  I hope everyone takes a moment to thank all those groundhogs out there for their hard work on this beloved day.

Anyway...I think I'm finally back into the groove of things again.  Last week was LOOONG, but this week has been much better!!  My days are pretty long, but luckily I'm finding the time I need to get everything done (although the my sleep time has been minimized).

Sooo...Valentine's Day is coming up!  If you don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend to spend it with...so what?!  One day...you will find "the one," and will have a Valentine, YOUR Valentine, the rest of your life.  Instead of feeling down and lonely, be excited and anticipant of what God has in store for you in the future!! =)  That was kinda cheesy, but oh well...it's cool.  I hope everyone's Groundhog Day is superb, and a fun Valentine's Day, no matter your situation!

Have a great month...or Until I update again!

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.  If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevers.

Love never fails.  But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.  For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when Perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.  When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child.  When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.  Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.  Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.  But the greatest of these is love.

Hello Xanga World!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a great start to the year 2006!!

Today I received a package from my "wicked-cool roomie!"  What was in it?? ...you might ask!  ...A coaster!! haha!  Yes, a coaster from Ruby Tuesdays!!  You may not understand, but I do!  It just puts a little sparkle in my day! =)  Gracias Laura!

In other news....My mom woke me up this morning trying to spray the air freshener... Of course it wasn't the air freshener it was an air horn... No me gusta!  Yea...Pretty sure I shot out of bed with that fresh feeling of pee in my bed!  Anyway!

Well I was reading on MSN about "America's Most Unusual Jobs," and here are my top picks:  Bingo Announcer, Eye Glass Buffer (when I first read that I thought it said a glass eye buffer hahaha!), Jelly Doughnut Filler, Lifeguard at Nude Beach, Stand-In Bridesmaid, Telemarketer For a Cemetery, Urinalysis Observer, and a Zoo Artificial Inseminator.  Pretty "unusual"  huh?? =)

Okay, well I guess that is all for now...By the way that whole air horn thing never happened.  (It's from a movie)  I just thought it would be funny...right Leslie!! =)

Until Emily tells me to update again....Adios!
